I'd say obfuscating content size, typically removing list of collectibles/achievement lists - and on a larger viewpoint I think those are fundamentally anticozy - focusing on the organic engagement rather than list of objectives

It's really enticing! Idk if it'd work for you but I like to have someone drive the collision like player->crate but if you have other moving agents each transmits impulse to the other but not to itself so each moving object handle the impact it's responsible for
Solo dev really takes a village
I had the same exact question and was pretty happy when using relative velocity (mass adjusted or not) also i think using pure mass isn't super useful because values are sometimes crazy tonget the proper physics you want, I prefer to have a custom multiplier for each object. How did you go about it?
