User advocates understand that solving small problems well is a much better experience for users than being disruptive and claiming to solve big problems but doing it poorly on a broken infrastructure. But that doesn’t draw investors so it’s not desirable.

In my experience as a UX designer, leadership is hostile to what UX recommends because what solves for the user needs is often at odds with what will create the biggest value for shareholders/investors.
