My relationship with music has changed/deepened massively this year. I'm buying more physical records, relying less on streaming, reading more, trying to go to more gigs... and it's been a good year (on that front).

One thing that hasn't changed is my love of tQ. Please support them!

Because I am both a graphic designer AND a bit of a twat, I’ve made a graphic of my favourite records of 2025

Hey sorry for ghosting you on this. Only got the chance to check yesterday and I found a couple of your zines but not Myopia I’m afraid 😓

Followed, of course, by Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes, and then Cotton-Eye Joe

At the trampoline park with the kids and some absolute legend has interrupted the relentless Disney songs to play Enya at full blast.

If I do find it, I'd be more than happy to send it to you!

There is a small chance I still have my copy together with some other zines in storage! Will try and fish it out tomorrow and let you know

Picking up Nine Inch Nails’ With Teeth based purely off the cover art, falling down the rabbit hole and getting obsessed with @rob-sheridan.com’s world-building

A group of trendy adults in sat amongst some bright interior design in even brighter clothing playing with their Board (which looks like a massive iPad)

This looks pretty cool – a face-to-face videogame console that mixes board game play with videogame interactivity.

It always seems like it's the punk/metal bands that have the best picks on this show

And here's the tracklist! A mix of modern downtempo, turn-of-the-century "IDM" and some other bits and pieces. The kind of stuff I put on on an evening to help me decompress.

Saw someone recently say their “unhinged food take” was that adding black pepper to their mac & cheese improved the flavour. I hate this.

Hahaha that's so good. The Can t-shirt completes the look, too.

Would make a great Halloween costume; someone dressed in normal clothes but every so often nervously looking at a photo of the devil they keep scrunched up in their pocket

Artwork for my show on Love Will Save The Day FM. Top banner reads "Sunday 8PM–9PM" and has the title of the show, Longshore Drift. Banner on the right has the Love Will Save The Day FM logo on its side. Artwork is a collage of 1970s National Geographic images, showing people pointing at a painting with a lecturer in the foreground. The painting has been replaced by an artist's impression of a black hole swallowing the Earth.

I have a show on lovewillsavetheday.fm this Sunday, 8–9PM, as part of their Open Air weekend. I'll be playing a mix of downtempo, IDM, dubby stuff and a few other related bits. Experimental, textural music to decompress to.
