Most big accounts and companies don't need (or even pay attention to) the latter, and are mostly just making content for the former.
What if we just started using the Like button as an intentional tool to help small accounts, and to show appreciation to individuals?
I think we all have this habit of "liking" anything online that we find even mildly interesting. Apart from the dopamine micro boost, the only 2 benefits of that are:
1. To boost a post on algorithmic platforms
2. To show appreciation without writing a reply
