#MUFC 1-2 Leeds. Rubbish.

Social media apps as Lord of the Rings characters, a thread:
Twitter: Twitter is Gollum. Began as a normal halfling. Overexposure to evil left it thin and stretched and bitter.
How this works:
The Swearksy Index is the % of English Bluesky posts that contain one or more swear word in the last 10 minutes. Graphs show the average each hour (so changes a bit over the day). Posts every ~4 hours if the index remains normal, but makes extra posts if 1% above the 7-day average.
Is food becoming too creative and interesting?
More so than BBC journalism, which is still reliant on the old classics like "is modern life less good than when you were young?"

A screencap of the beginning of a bluesky post by @davidallengreen that starts "Bless the innocent souls that believe"1
As I started scrolling I assumed @davidallengreen.bsky.social was posting about the Villa.
I have in my life known many dachshunds. My aunt was a licensed breeder of them. My parents have had a succession of them since my childhood. I cannot say I've ever met one I thought capable of taking on a badger.
Feeling a lot better about it now. Liverpool and Chelsea both losing moves yesterday's result firmly into the "valuable point in the circumstances" category.
Feeling better about it already.
Bournemouth 2-2 #MUFC. United show good character to hold on in adversity. I'm pretty certain they would've lost this game six months ago. Won't feel happy about it unless the others drop points too.
It has the whiff of agent talk rather than anything real.
Imagine the uproar if they added an extra crate in a strategic location in de_dust
I still don't know the difference between Paul Thomas Anderson and Paul WS Anderson and I'm not about to start learning it now.
Draw probably funniest as it's not going to be enough for either team. Might be a momentum changer for Spurs if they can back it up with a win next time.
The best thing about the upcoming Liverpool - Spurs match is that literally every possible result is funny for the neutral.
#MUFC 3-1 Villa. United survive a few wobbly moments and score some cracking goals at what felt like pivotal points in the game. A real six pointer, a must win, won.
Wrexham is most definitely a fairy tale story. Probably Cinderella.
@jonathanliew.bsky.social problem solved?
I mean OK, but glass houses and all that...
Newcastle 2-1 #MUFC. Opposition players have a happy habit of getting sent off against United, but United are developing a very unhappy habit of losing those games. Newcastle weren't really down to ten men, though, because Joelinton turns into twice the player every time he plays us.
Yesterday's Liverpool result combined with Villa & Chelsea playing each other turns tonight's #MUFC match from "potential banana skin" into "free hit". Have at it, lads.
United 2-1 Palace. It wasn't easy, it wasn't pretty, it wasn't really even very good, but we'll happily win ugly every week. #MUFC move into third and keep moving in the right direction.
