Last year I read 48 books. This year I’ve finished my 4th, so far. starting a new job and constantly learning has made it much easier to watch tv or play video games instead of reading. Sucks because my TBR is ever growing.

Thank you! I feel like a folded flag like that is different from a translucent $10 made-in-China flag, personally. If I get my late father’s folded flag, it wouldn’t be painted on or tossed around! I know it’s the “same” flag, but I see nuance.

🙄 Using my first amendment right to make a statement doesn’t make me a degenerate. Putting God on everything during the red scare is a failing of the country. We were founded on religious freedom.

Costco had a cute flower set that matches the one Blake got me for my birthday, so we put that together tonight and added to the others. 😍

I bought the flag for the sole purpose of making it a sign. That’s the whole point. Because I can. Because I’m still free for now and still have some rights until fascism completely takes over. Painting on the flag was the whole entire point.

I would hope fascism would make you more uncomfortable. Y’all are completely losing sight of what today was about.

I think respecting our country and constitution is more important than arbitrary rules for the flag. Which is why I used my first amendment rights to protest today with my “defaced” flag. Flag code is for official flags, military performance, ceremonies. It doesn’t mean shit for the average Joe.
