One Battle After Another winning Best Picture is gonna age like Crash winning Best Picture.
While Sinners was a near masterpiece.
I saw this coming.
This is why I turned off the Oscars.
I'll just say this.
Sinners is a masterpiece and easily the best movie of 2025.
One Battle After Another could've been great if it didn't recycle Crash/Green Book/The Help/ The Blibd Side issues.
Hence why OBAA will win best picture at the Oscars tonight.

Personally, OBAA felt like it tackles many issues in a surface level or stereotypical way, and ended up saying nothing substantial at the end. Is the movie entertaining? Yes. Does it have a lot to say? I don't think so.
