Yus! Taxonomy can be tricky! For example not all Sabertooths are actually true cats! And things like Dimetrodon are actually more closely related to Us than dinosaurs! Synapsids and Therapsids are cool and honestly the Permian and Triassic deserve more love! ^^

Well depends on what us want but Rugrats Apparel has some really cute briefs. Though you can find cute boxer briefs at Walmart too. I've got DBZ, Superman, StarWars, Pokémon, and Stitch. Socks all over the place. Check dollar stores, Dollar Tree has loads of em.

Aaaand now you've given me ideas for furry world building n the mental image of tot Lig with a whole uncooked chicken left unattended. Tot Lig hisses when anyone reaches for it and clearly someone forgot to trim his claws. XD

Nope but I wonder if it was more wide spread a few generations ago cuz it was my grandpa saying it. And yup we'd never leave right when he said it. It usually too grandma another 15 to 20 to wrap up. XD She could talk! Honestly so can I on certain topics, guess I got it from her. Hehe.

XD Awesome! I remember listening for it as a kid. We'd go visit someone n grandma would carry on forever and I knew when grandpa said that we would finally be leaving.

I can add a personal one from grandpa.

Saying "Well I suppose." As a means of indicating to grandma its time to head home. XD

As a kid and into terns I remember playing with younger age groups a lot more than my own. Also remember the first time i felt blushy cuz a peer saw me in the toy section of the store around middle school age n made fun of me. Playing with toys really gets me into head space. ^^

Today in 2063 the T'Plana-Hath a Vulcan scout vessel was conducting routine surveys in the Sol System. Just after 11am it detected the Warp signature of an unknown vessel, The Phoenix piloted by Zefram Cochrane. Later that day the T'Plana-Hath would land and make history.

Happy First Contact Day!

Eh at this point I guess nothing. Eh. At this point I think I have kinda lost the plot of what the original thing was about and should probably just shut up.

Sorry. You're not wrong but the way you say it comes across as "We need world peace to accomplish this! Work on that first." That often feels like dismissing it because World Peace is not something easily seen and difficult to agree on what that looks like.

Yes. THAT is the rub. NOT that it isn't possible but that political BS is a limiting factor. But you'll excuse that I'm not so pessimistic about things improving on that front. Hard as it is to see now with sitting administration.

That isn't exactly so as a solar shade or mirror merly needs to be a thin foil film reflective on one side only. It would be trivial for most nations to manufacture. Getting it to orbit or the moon would be the expensive part but likely doable if any nation felt it was needed.

2 weeks ago 0 0 2 0

Indeed and many options for mitigation are helped by better space based infrastructure. Orbital shades for example if push comes to shove. Using them and Orbital mirrors on the moon would be good testing and useful to keep a lunar settlement on as 24 hrs day night cycle.

Have hope. We've come this far and there is so much farther we can go. So much more we can accomplish. I for one think we can and will continue to do better. Upward and onwards kiddos.

These problems haven't gone away but we're doing better now with them as a whole as a world than we were then. It's easy to see all the negative but we are doing better, it might not feel that way sometimes but we are. We will continue to do better.

The last time people we had a photo like this people like me couldn't marry, the world lived in fear of the cold war turning hot, the population lower by several billion, infant mortality was higher, more people starved, disease was more rampant.

I've seen this image going round and the messages with it often seem to focus on the negatives of the world right now. True we can and should do better. But we have made progress since the last time a picture from this vantage point was taken.

Even if that is the case its worth the time and effort. The alternative is ti die with Earth in a few hundred million years.

It is sensitive. But if I'm being honest. I think this world and the life on it is robust enough to survive. But we may not be. We will not snuff out all life but we may leave an extinction event in the geologic record that puzzles whoever comes next. We must take care n am to seed the stars.

Yeah the problem with Open World is you need an interesting World to explore. The world space needs to be populated enough with lots of things so there's good reason to explore it. That takes a lot of work and dense lore. Which a lot of places aren't up too.

Best way out is not to. Ask if you can be part of his hoard. ^^

I dunno where to find physical copy but the version of it available for Digital purchase on Prime has the good dub. Though I don't know if it's still available for purchase but that's an option.

It was awesome! Though its not often easy to find the best dub. Most of the newer DVDs I've seen use a different dub than the Adult swim Funamation one. Most of the other ones make The Major sound so damn lifeless by comparison.
