In 2 days I'll be talking about fashion & street style, photography and idols.
What a crazy mix. I'm still organizing my ideas and thoughts but I'll definitely go deeper after the lecture.

I laughed so hard. MZ are amazing.
They never disappoint me

I'm tired of people telling me that gisaengs were prostitutes...
Old houses lining a roundabout in Washington DC. A distant building is flying the Korean flag.
The old Korean Legation building exterior. A Victorian brick mansion with the Korean flag on top. It’s a bright sunny day
A view of the information board outside the Korean legation building explaining the importance and timeline of this place
The beautiful wood front door, very tall. On either side are historic plaques including a National Register of Historic Places
Stopped by the Korean Legation, which is where those 7 students would have gone in the 1800s. Today it’s a museum preserved by the area’s Korean American residents #arirang
Get well soon!
Having cake always makes a bad day better, so enjoy it 😊
Starting this Friday, we'll be able to see Koo Bohnchang's photos in the Korean culture center in Madrid and I'm so happy.
Not only that, but I'll meet him! (well, I won't be the only one but you know haha).
It's the first time I'll meet a Korean photographer and I'm nervous, ngl
In the course I'm taking, some people use ChatGPT as if it's Google. I'm speechless...
I am pleased to share that our long-awaited forum in the Journal of Asian Studies, "Digital Humanities in/and Asian Studies," is out! My article examines some case studies of the possibilities DH can offer East Asian Studies. read.dukeupress.edu/journal-of-a...
I'm tempted to cut off some of my family members sometimes. Seriously, how come it's so difficult for some people to respect boundaries and not to give advice when I didn't ask for it?
Ah, sorry, it's not advice, it's just an opinion (irony off)
“Some of these works will appear alongside painting, sculpture and historical objects. Photography can be a lens on the world, showing us social, political and economic circumstances in ways that painting or sculpture alone cannot.”

Many thanks to @uofmpress.bsky.social for believing in and supporting this project 💚
Friends, an article (short one, just 2,400 words) that I wrote just came out. It's part of the @eastasiaforum.bsky.social issue on "Resource Geopolitics" and my article is on #Korean #SoftPower (or rather my misgivings that Soft Power actually exists and really can help Korea, beyond
I'd be able to relax and create at my own pace and that would mean that I'd also post more of my work process and my final work.
