It's fun to figure out what I'm going to learn from each of my TTRPG characters. My cleric exposed my parental trauma, and now my Lancer character, Nora, is running into this asocial bullshit. You'd think the years I've spent in therapy would've done more work, and yet.

At some point, mine looped back around to "if I don't have friends of my own, I can't scare them away anymore", so.

The majority of my friends were friends of my spouse first. I've only begun independently making my own friends again within the last few years. I'm thirty-fucking-seven.

this has baffled me for a while. how come a game you play for a few hours with friends and have fun on is considered slop when it is literally the same thing as say, going out to a movie or bar with said friends? they are the same thing so how come one is chastised where the other isn't?
