Developer as well, 6 years of professional experience
I wouldn't say that it's better than humans. It's definitely faster, and good enough to be helpful, but not better
For someone with 30 years of experience to say that it's better than humans is crazy to me

They won't. The cat is out of the bag, companies won't stop using AI
What they can and probably will do is to improve their regression tests so AI tools won't run amok and actually help
I'm a developer and I was a top tier AI hater
I started with claude just a few months now due to peer pressure, and I gotta say, it got surprisingly good
Good enough to help a bunch
But it still generates a bunch of bullshit, and you have to review it properly
A sorceress astounded by her freshly sculpted homunculus. A single shaft of light illuminates her creation. Bounce lighting reflects upon the sorceress. The homunculus has a flaccid butt. The maker's hands are covered in fresh clay. They are the only body parts of the sorceress that are directly lit. Faint, residual purple smoke wisps from her fingertips: the homunculus stands in an awkward pose, that of a creature freshly adjusting to its body. The homunculus has thin limbs and a hefty torso, though it is faced against the viewer. The sorceress's workshop is littered in sculpting tools, brushes, an open tome of transmutation, ceramic bowls and a pitcher of dirty clay water in which lie a few of these tools. Clay shavings are scattered about the floor. A red, runic circle surrounds the humonculus. In the dark background it is possible to catch a few failed prototypes on a shelf.
Two Carverine (orc-like humanoids), a male and a female, ride alongside eachother, on top of war hippos. They hold each other's arms. With the other hand, the female orc displays a freshly decapitated head - the enemy king. While the male lifts his axe up in prideful show. Both orcs have red hair and pinkish-gray skin, similar to the hippos they ride upon. The carverine have long, elephant like tusks, and wear minimal bronze armor.
A bottomless chasm, miles wide, takes up more than two thirds of the image. The distant horizon harbors a silent city. The sky a dark blue, it is moments before dawn. We stand on the precipice, observing a single lit candle, burning a green flame. A humble prayer to the Buried God.
A giant cyclops. Slender, female. Her armor is golden bronze, made of large plates with shield-sized domes protusions, which help veer off attacks. She wears a golden diadem, golden earrings, and her single eye is bright blue. Her armor shines from the warm light that trickles into the large chamber, pouring in from an off-scene oculus. Her face partially in the dark, tall that she is, only illuminated partially by the bounce lighting of her armor. Her right arm adjusts her belt, while her left arm is lifted, underneath it; we see a shirtless servant on top of a tall staircase, tying the laces of her bracer. The staircase is built of beige stone. The bracer is almost the size of this person. By the cyclops' feet, we see two other servants donning her greaves. One of them holds the giant slab of bronze in place, while the other, behind the cyclops' calf, ties up the laces. The floor is a white marble tile, giving the entire scene a slight reflection. Did you know a single greave of this Cyclops weighs around 150 kilos? Behind the Princes Warrior, we see a 2 story tall greataxe. It is brightly illuminated by the single shaft of light that brightens the entire room. In fact, the entire scene is illuminated either by the natural light, or the bounce lighting of the cyclops' armor, giving the entire painting a warm look. The chamber is large and tall, made of stone, to accomodate the Princess Warrior. A small brazier burns incense, permeating the room with a pleasant odor of cloves. Behind the Cyclops and her servants, three noble folk overlook her befitting from a balcony. The balcony sits at the height of the Cyclops' head. One woman smokes, the man in the middle lifts a goblet with a grin, and the leftmost woman looks simply bored. There's a glass pitcher hewn with gold half-filled with wine next to them.

NASA’s Orion spacecraft captures the Moon and the Earth in one frame during the Artemis II crew’s deep space journey at 6:42 p.m. ET on the sixth day of the mission. The right side of NASA’s Orion spacecraft is seen lit up by the Sun. A waxing crescent Moon is visible behind it. And then, a crescent Earth, tiny compared to the Moon, is about to set below the Moon’s horizon on the right. Credit: NASA
Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region. In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks—formed when the surface rebounded upward during the impact that created the crater. Image Credit: NASA
The Moon, seen here backlit by the Sun during a solar eclipse on April 6, 2026, is photographed by one of the cameras on the Orion spacecraft’s solar array wings. Orion is visible in the foreground on the left. Earth is reflecting sunlight at the left edge of the Moon, which is slightly brighter than the rest of the disk. The bright spot visible just below the Moon’s bottom right edge is Saturn. Beyond that, the bright spot at the right edge of the image is Mars. Credit: NASA
As the Artemis II crew flew over the terminator, the astronauts described this boundary between day and night as "anything but a straight line." Crater rims along the terminator stand out as "islands" in the night. Giant chains of craters emanating from the 3.7-billion-year-old Orientale basin can be seen scouring the surface, stretching almost to the terminator. This tells a geologic story: these crater chains produced by the Orientale impact event mar the surface of the relatively flat Hertzsprung Basin (center of this image), which means that Hertzsprung Basin must be even older than Orientale! Rust has cargo problem
I really wish rust was batteries included like go. Instead, they looked at npm trash and made it worse
That's a lot of lines
my autocorrect just corrected "claude" to "cLaUdE" and I think that's beautiful

an artwork by Spindle of the character Asimov, a half-elf woman with short white hair wearing a blue low-cut top with an off-white shirt underneath, a beige apron, and black pants. Sitting on a wooden panel on a rug, making a broom out of reeds.

Can I ask you how you are creating these images?
They look really nice
poster do duna com o título alterado pro texto: “amor você ainda ia me amar se eu fosse uma minhoca uma minhocona mesmo enorme gigante”
Unless they have plans to upsell within claude code
I honestly don't understand why they do this
Is not like they lose money when we use opencode, we still pay for claude code
That is really a shame
I was enjoying using opencode for claude, I like the UX better than Claude Code

you can write programs in C, compile them to x86 machine code with GCC, and run them inside CSS

How?
graph of programming languages by percent of programmers identifying as LGBTQ. Rust is way in the lead at a whopping 55% with the next highest being zig at 30%, followed by a smooth curve with haskell being at 28% and typescript being at 25%. more languages are listed but it is mostly uninteresting.
i love this graph
Everything is hilarious… until it happens to you.
