Have you heard of the Fire Horse Year?
In Japan, fertility dropped 26% that year & jumped 41% the next — the biggest change in world history since 1950. The reason? A widespread superstition related to the Fire Horse Year.

A press release of our new study in English/Spanish/Catalan has just out. We explain a situation those who do not have any romantic partner in Japan and found that individuals without a romantic partner are more likely to revise their fertility desires downward.
