Went to the shop after work to get veggies so I could do some healthy meals instead of just microwave noodles but now I’m home I don’t have the energy
I did not sleep last night so now in addition to my raging headache my tummy is giving me issues and I accidentally ripped out a quarter of my eyelashes when I was trying to think of a diplomatic response to a rude email
A quick heads up; The UK government is currently holding a consultation on the Online Safety Act. The consultation lasts until the end of next month.
Please fill it out if you live in the UK and/or share it around to get more eyes on it.

I didn’t go do a big food shop bc I didn’t want to be perceived in public and now there’s gonna be a marathon starting in 7ish hours so idk if I’m gonna be able to go do a big shop bc all the roads are gonna be closed iv really ballsed it up this time

Had a nightmare last night that the pipes in the flat above broke again and flooded my flat so now I’m gonna be stressing for the next few weeks
mack-anthoIogy-mp3: "you came back wrong and i am racked [sic] with guilt because i cannot bear to see you like this and i should have let you rest. i loved you so much that i defied death itself but i do not think either of us are happy" vetchtibbles: "this is what microwaving leftover pizza feels like" mack-anthology-mp3: "stop it i was trying to be gothic"
My coworker recommended I play outer wilds so I think that’s what il spend tomorrow doing after I do my big shop
Literally what is the point of going into the office if u can’t be guaranteed a place to work - I’m not waking up an extra 2 hrs early just to walk home after getting there
I’m not going in as often until they sort out the seating situation at work there isn’t enough seats I fucking hate hot-desking
iv probably saved quite a bit of money working from home instead of going into the office the past 2 weeks
Saw a video of that polite dinosaur robot in Japan a few days ago and it’s still stuck in my head
There must be something wrong with me bc everyone was being v emotional at the funeral today (as u would expect people to react!!!) but I felt absolutely nothing
A post which says "Heartbreaking: JRPG corridor has gone on for far longer than expected and you are starting to suspect that you actually took the correct path by accident"
I’M GONNA CRY 🥲

"Why the Golden Age of JRPGs is Over". An old article posted on 1up Dot Com on July 18, 2011. SOURCE: https://web.archive.org/web/20121106033816/http://www.1up.com/features/golden-age-jrpgs-xenoblade-pandora-tower-last-story-xseed "It's over. It no longer makes economic sense to bring most Japanese titles over to the west -- particularly RPGs. Sure, the Konamis and the Capcoms of the world will keep putting out their AAA titles, but the industry is heading back to a state more like the mid-'90s where JRPGs are few, quirky and charming titles are left untranslated, and fans of Japanese developers are left to beg publishers in vain for their most anticipated games. The recent grassroots attempt to persuade Nintendo to bring over Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower, and The Last Story to America or the west will likely fail to persuade decision makers at the company because they understand the business reality. Localizing a Japanese game and releasing it at retail is an expensive undertaking, and industry forces, including piracy, changing gamer tastes, and platform owner licensing rules have rendered it an unprofitable one. A few specialty publishers who are very good at dealing with Japanese games remain, but even they have cut back on releases in recent years."
It's always interesting to look back at the early 2010s and see how much doom and gloom there was about the state of Japanese RPGs in the west. 15 years later and now we have so many great RPGs coming out of Japan, most titles get world-wide releases, and Xenoblade is a major Nintendo franchise.
Really need to figure out how to unfreeze the top drawer of my freezer so that I can actually open it , bc of how it’s installed I can’t unplug it so might have to figure out how to switch it off at the fuse box
One Piece is the story of one young man who makes life hell for all who choose to associate with him.
That’s half a freezer drawer dedicated to hashbrowns and I only have 3 drawers bc it’s one of those mini freezers
Realised I don’t actually have enough space to store the food I want to meal prep in my freezer so I’m focusing on eating the stuff in there already and why the fuck do I have 4 bags of hashbrowns I don’t even like them that much
A reminder that Steam has changed its AI-Disclaimer policy to allow game companies to not disclose Gen AI usage as long as it's not being used in a way players will directly interact with. It is deliberately ambiguous so that companies using it in the way Level-5 does do NOT have to disclose it.
I think I’m gonna make cheesy beef potato bowls which is risky bc I haven’t tried this recipe before but it’s probably fine I can give it to my sister if I don’t like it I guess?
I’m going to get up earl6 tomorrow so I can do my big shop before it gets busy and I’m planning on actually meal prepping for the next week (even though it’s only gonna be 4 meals) but I don’t have enough Tupperware so it’s gonna be expensive
