Dusk sinks under a snow covered treeline, splitting its the final golden rays, as warm as the embers of a forest fire, over the ice crusted foliage into a grassy clearing beyond. The shadows are already pale grey before the pines and the purple of the sky is deepening. In this veiling hour a centaur, with a travelling cloak around their shoulders, makes their way towards the woods. They are dark before the falling light they stride towards and pause before they go on their way, leaning on their staff and looking back into the clearing while their tail flicks. Whatever they look out to, they are not duly bothered by it.

A little piece I did for a new set of business cards. Made me want to get back into my landscapes.
Honestly there’s far too much I want to get back into.

I write each chapter separately in Calmly Writer and then compile the final draft in Open Office! CW is very minimalist, which for me helps w getting as little distraction as possible, but it doesn't have much in the way of formatting options so that's where OO comes in 👍

For the last 2 years I have been living in Boston with my roommate. The day after we signed to renew the lease on our shared apartment, they got accepted into Penn State and are now planning to move there. They are already looking for someone to take over our lease. There's no way I will be able to stay in Boston. This leaves me with a few options.

Option 1) My roommate is planning to rent a 2 bedroom apartment in Pennsylvania, and would be fine with me living there with them for a year if l can find a job in the area. After a year I would be expected to move out since they want to live on their own without roommates. If this happens I could most likely get by on my own between a job, patreon supporters and commissions since rent is cheaper. Patreon supporters

Option 2) If I could find a high paying job in Ohio, I could move in with my grandmother in Cleveland. This isn't really ideal since I would have to leave the house on days my dad visits her. Option 3) I'm being heavily pressured to move back in with my mom who would give me 3 months to find a job in Ohio. If I can't find a job within that time frame l'd likely be unhoused once the 3 months are up. Going back to that house would be bad for a number of reasons: less privacy, less ability to talk to people, and it's an extremely abusive environment.

Right now, I'm saving as much money as I can to prepare for this. Any help finding employment in Pennsylvania or Ohio would be greatly appreciated. I would be totally ok living on my own as long as I can support myself financially. I need to save for covering the first/last months rent on a new apartment, moving costs, debt, monthly expenses, etc. I'm really hoping in the next few years I can find stable long term housing instead of having to repeat this song and dance every year. Thank you for your help. •
