The failed to launch issue is interesting because my game launched multiple times after the hot fix on Wed. but was hit by the failure to launch on Thurs. I ended up fixing it by renaming my mods folder, launching my game and then moving my mods (not the resource.cfg) to the new mods folder.

They should just roll back the Marketplace entirely.

It's funny how the Sims market place is designed literally to milk more money from us, but for me, personally, it's had the opposite effect. It's cured me of my need to own everything. I no longer care to have it all, and I have no desire to spend more money on the game. It's actually liberating. 😅
