i've been on vacation for the past couple weeks so i've mainly been working on Gone Fishing's story, and today i drew some reference art for the protagonist, Rick Balinston

i'm not that good at drawing non-cartoony things but i think this came out pretty well :)

most of the time when I'm coming up with the story for a game, I'll have a playlist full of songs that are associated with events in the game in chronological order

most of the gone fishing playlist is piano and silent hill

one of the things that inspires me the most creatively is music

often I'll imagine something to go along with a song I'm listening to

some songs have inspired entire games I've made

i've never really written dialogue before and it feels like all the dialogue i've written for gone fishing is stilted or awkward
