For people looking for quick and easy dungeon maps I really enjoy looking through all of these hand drawn Everquest maps. I never played EQ back in the day but I am fascinated by that type of mmo. These maps are ripe for campaign use and full of prompts to play off of.

The Frozen Ascent completed! The party succeeded and only the goblin hireling died, though there were a good amount of close calls along the way. Had they not managed to break the dragon free I think it would have been a very different outcome. Great work @jpcoovert.bsky.social we all had a blast.

yeah I think its just a matter of personal taste that gets amplified by the internet megaphone, and turned into scripture- there is no one true way.

I think its just people being burned by bad GMs in the past and seeking comfort in the chaos of a die roll instead of having to trust again. Video games make it seem like you want a DM that can replicate the computer, something you can blame that isnt your friend, a neutral adversary.
