I’ve been playing DQ3 2.5HD lately and I always appreciate how the series went its art direction. When similar games were trying to drive home the awe of their beasties, DQ’s dedication to the goofiness is admirable. Anything can be a monster if you shove a silly face on it and I love that.

What sin did we commit that resulted in it not getting an in game bestiary? I absolutely want to know intricate and almost entirely useless lore about this world full of goofy folks.

Strange how CDPR has no issue with the market of devs selling custom V models for people to play dress up but when someone makes a niche VR perspective all of a sudden it’s time to wheel out the TOS.

Empower those willing to iterate and champion your game, don’t stifle them.
