Feels like every RE wants to have these big twists and reveals, and while I can reconcile the primary retcons RE9 adds, I feel like RE could just become games about playing random nobodies surviving random bio terror we hear so much about

No more saving the world, just saving who you can.

Each segment is fine, but I'd rather have a bunch of smaller releases focused on each style. Than this cutting back and forth. Where I was sad to be ripped away from the good parts to play different games.

Speaking of smaller, I really think RE stories would be better served at smaller scopes.

Having finally played RE9, it seems they'll be moving forward with the design philosophy that every RE game needs to include a little bit of everyone's favorite game play type.
