This slide presents our first game Spriki: Tiny Island. There is the game pitch, three rough sprites of our wind spirit and a screenshot of how the game is looking at the moment. Je comprends l'idée de la sincérité de la démarche, mais malgré tout utiliser l'IA sans amener de solution aux problèmes qu'elle engendre indirectement, je ne vois pas la différence avec un tech-bro. Ils ont l'air d'avoir compris que les problèmes de copyright existent, mais l'utilisent quand même

J'avoue avoir lu seulement le manifeste et les post-epinglés, mais je ne crois pas avoir vu de mentions du fait que l'IA utilise des images copyrightées sans que l'utilisateur le demande. Une vrai démarche honnête sur le sujet serait de créer ses propres outils pour contrôler la database

Aussi la liste d'artiste qu'ils évitent est en opt-out, ce qui est absurde, les artistes n'ont pas le temps d'aller vérifier qu'ils sont bien inscrit sur toutes les listes de toutes les entreprises et individues qui utilisent de l'IA.

A moins qu'ils fassent des IA à partir de base de données contrôlées, le problème est toujours le même (et même chose pour les modèles "surentrainés").

De ce que j'en comprends, la démarche a l'air très naïve, et omet que les modèles génératifs qu'ils utilisent reprennent directement le travail d'autres auteurs, même si le nom n'est pas directement cité dans le prompt.

Parodie du mème de la série "Invincible". En arrière-plan on voit un data center engloutir de grandes quantités de carburant et d'eau, envoyant des colonnes de fumée dans l'atmosphère. Au premier plan, Miyazaki prononce la phrase du mème original: "Look what they need to mimic just a fraction of our power", tandis que Boulet répond un peu tristement: "I still wish they'd fuck off".
