I was just asked if I could be interviewed on my thoughts on the Boston subway system and I was like “sure but I’ve literally been here for 2 days”

I live in what my reigning monarch Talia Hibbert calls a “highly temperamental body” and we’re traveling today, so my mom asked if I needed to take pain meds with me as we left the hotel. I said I was okay for now, but she said “what if you’re not okay later.” chronically ill moms are always right.

I’m not sure it’s always intended to be, but “you wrote that?!” will always be the best compliment in the world to me.
