We were the same age so if life has treated them relatively well, they could just be in the same boat as me.

Would they even remember me? Idk. I'm scared to find out if they don't.

It's been my biggest regret since, and I don't even know why my brain hasn't managed to let this all go!

We used to role-play in groups either on Geeking, or on Kik with a few select friends we found.

Internet safety was not our main concern as kids clearly 😂

The last time I looked they had changed their pronouns and I was tempted to send a message right then but chickened out because we hadn't spoken in a few weeks. Next thing I knew the app had been shut down and I had no other way to contact them apart from their inactive social media page.

I think about an old Internet friend daily to the point I think of trying to send a message to an account that they haven't posted on for a decade-
