@hillingsama.bsky.social had her own set. They let you pick your kimono so I went with the one with this famous skeleton woodblock print. Because I love goth stuff and art history. the stylists were super nice and the photographer was great at directing. it was very was easy.

More Japan photos. Free will and disposable income mean you can book a photo shoot with stylist in Tokyo to get fun fantasy photos with your friend. We each got a solo set and got extra together.

actual doll event day, I made my doll a fake shop the night before we flew out, and stayed up all night printing my doll packaging and printing stickers.

I was trying to avoid doll photos but I had a very pure Fandom moment when I met another doll owner at our mutual app game exhibit. And we took photos of our dolls together and it was very cute. our dolls are less popular characters so we share that rare character Fandom bond. 🤝

I bought a lot of Japanese import fabric the last year so being able to get it for way cheaper than I've been paying was a real "in in danger" moment every store visit

please note I took probably 50 photos or more of just fabrics I liked that could be it's own massive thread.

I bought more fabric then someone with as much fabric as I already have should have lol

the timing worked out! I checked the exhibits when we were deciding if we should go or not and it was a happy surprise
