Leaving on a road trip & I have EMPTY NEEDLES. Seeing if I can convince someone on #ravelry to sell me a few skeins of linen, but if successful, they won't arrive in time. Spent the rest of the evening looking at all 62 pages of my ravelry library to find a pattern "that starts with p". Forgot name.

I was a house sitter/dog walker and I got quite good at figuring out the cable tv-tv-home theater systems at people's houses.

My crown came off and I panicked! I'm not even there yet and I won't be home for 9 weeks! Easter wk in Iceland is unpredictable--many places are closed. But I found a dentist to glue my crown on ($600), which was not covered by ins when I got home. Take my advice: don't eat candy in the dark!3/3

It was dark on the plane, but I didn't want to turn on a light in case a neighbor was sleeping. I bit into the egg, which was hollow and filled with other little candies. I popped one into my mouth, thinking it was the Icelanders' favorite licorice. It wasn't. It was caramel. 2/3

Seeing a news item about the price of chocolate Easter eggs brings to mind my first experience with these lovely seasonal treats. 2018 I was flying to Iceland for a 2 month artist-in-residency when the flight attendant announced they had one more egg to sell. Of course I grabbed it. 1/3
