3 out of 3 dogs understand homecoming. Kell is just smart enough to make his way to the couch for a proper greeting.

@nedpyle.com do you like our signs?
We were just feeling very serious today
We asked the if it was going to warm up again, and she said maybe a little but not much for awhile. It’s a good thing. We have a collection of sweatshirts for Finley. And at least it won’t rain!
Hope you had a good start of the week too. If not, there’s always time for it to get better!
On the way back home, we stopped at the school field just to enjoy a moment of quiet with the blue skies
And Finley did a roll in the grass, of course
Two dogs sit in the grassy lawn of a front yard in front of a sign. While partially obstructed by one dog, the sign reads vote for: women’s rights, social justice, environmental protection. The dogs stoic expressions give the viewer the feeling that they are being mildly threatened.

And we walked over to another neighborhood that has some cool signs in their yards. As dogs we try to avoid pawlitics, but I don’t know how anyone could argue with this.

I checked for my sewer friends
(no one was there)
Despite the temperatures (I say this is Rory weather!) we went out on a bit of a longer walk than usual.
Two dogs lay in a big grassy field paw outstretched towards the camera. The dog on the left is Rory, a medium size, red and white dog with light blue eyes. On the right is Finley a light brown dog with darker brown markings and a reddish nose. Finley is wearing a gray sweat sweatshirt. Both dogs have a rather on a unamused expression on their faces
Happy Monday, today was sunny ☀️ but cold! The humom closed all the windows in our house yesterday in Finley wore a sweatshirt again for walkies. We even covered one of the plants we put in the ground over the weekend in preparation for it to get very cold tonight 🧵

Made it very clear to the human that we wanted to see the going-ons in the neighborhood. Right now yard-work is being done across the street; so far it passes our inspection. Will continue to monitor.

We’re hoping to get more soon 🤞 the trees just started blooming a few days ago but with the change in weather you never know how long they’ll last.
I know there was one year where they bloomed and about two days later a big storm came and blew everything down
That’s all for tonight friends.
We took this picture here to show you that the sunsets aren’t always spectacular at this spot
And as you saw the human had a sit near the magnolia tree at one of the houses we walk by. Some of the lower branches had blooms and while they’re not the best, we have concerns about how long they will last given the weather. 🌺
Save some of those snackies for me too!
Finley knows the human has the good snacks
She’s good to us 😃

Hey humom, there’s no one in the field, can we run a bit?

Late walks are better than no walkies. It is chilly though, I don’t mind cause I have a good fur coat, but Finley wore his sweatshirt.

Late afternoon it finally stopped raining and the sun came out so we put on our shoes and coats and went for a walk. 🧵

Hi beautiful girl? Are you being denied the appropriate amount of attention that you deserve? Treats? Say AWHOOOO if you need help

This rain is booooring 🌧️

Yeah… we go to the golf course/park sometimes (lots of dogs off leash there and that’s just too much for Finley) but that’s open to golfers again. And when I’m doing my Therapy dog work that’s without Finley…
But I’m the best boy, I won’t get in the way, and I wanna go.
I’m glad Finley is becoming less gremlin-like but I was NOT happy to be left behind! I tried to jump in the car, but humom said I had to stay home as this was “Finley time” 😒
Humom says she grew up drinking water from the hose sometimes in the summer. You should try it.
The human did yard work today and I helped her set up the hose!

Humom says she’d prefer if I kept my foot off the coffee table, but she’ll forgive me
It’s sushi night! 🍣

You know what this means, right? 🧵

Well, did Lisa ask permission to share Darby’s bed with her?
It’s not Thursday but I still want to share a memory from a year ago when I was making steady progress in my therpawpy. We did a long walk that day - probably too long as I was noticeably sore for a few days but it was so nice to get out again!
