I work with these experts. They are excellent and compassionate physicians. This is such a difficult time. Glad they wrote this.

Every clinic visit- do you need a school note? Do you need a work note? Here take one just in case! (Etc.) Took my son to the dentist yesterday and forgot to ask for the note. (Just like I forgot last time.) 🤦🏻‍♀️

Opinion | I Shudder to Imagine Kennedy Running Our Health Agencies. (Gift Article) We have to go toe-to-toe with this administration and resist its attacks on public health.

Dear fellow scientists, Go talk to the press about what is going on. Talk to local news about how it will impact jobs. Be specific, but don't pity yourself. Instead focus on how your own situation affects local jobs, the national economy, beating the growing scientific race with China. Suggestions:

Could you imagine if everyone with #asthma or #COPD only paid a $25 co-pay for their #inhalers?

Yes!!!! by the way, I looked into the docent program there before I had kids. But the training was during the weekdays so I could not do it. Now I also could not manage to dedicate any weekend time, but I thought it would be fun to do on the weekends back then

Ooh- I will have to check these out. I was an art history major in undergrad and just adore the Cone Collection (and the BMA in general).

I know this sounds far fetched, but there is potential for bipartisan work on things like PBMs and Medicare advantage. Our current news cycle is showing us that these mega healthcare corporations have a roughly 0% approval rating. Everybody is pissed off at (mostly) the same things.

Half of my pre-Thanksgiving clinic is patients who have been away at college and are home for the break. Pediatrics is the best. It is fun seeing such a big age range- infants to young adults.
