Brings to mind a couple of apocryphal quotes: "Amateurs talks strategy. Professionals study logistics," attributed to General Omar Bradley.
And "an army marches on its stomach," Napoleon.
"Welcome, this account is devoted high-quality image of space"
Oh dear.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful moments @strategywoman.bsky.social
We once found ourselves in an art museum in front of a Chagall. I couldn't resist saying "It looks kinda gaudy". My wife didn't miss a beat in replying "Well, he was having fun."
We both erupted into laughter, rather to the surprise of the other visitors.
So much joy from one film. :)
Such a good movie and so incredibly quotable. In the kitchen my wife will regularly say "get me the big knife" and I'll reply "No! I won't do it!"
Over the years, we've shared so much laughter quoting and rewatching Moonstruck that it's part of our lives.
A la famiglia!
We see it. We appreciate it. We support you here and vis Patreon.
You're doing important work, showing Ukraine to us. One day many of us will come and drink a #VictoryCoffee in Kyiv because of you.
Thank you for all that you do.
Good to see! Safe travels!

I had never thought about food security until I heard Prof Tim Lang talk about a few years ago. He was calm and clear and let the facts make their own compelling case
Every day is a learning day, thank you!

You get the feeling Tim Rice would be fun to share a pint with
Started as a concept album by Abba's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, with lyrics by Tim Rice then moved to London's West End. I'm not sure if there were any other hits from it other than One Night in Bangkok
Look at all those dashes. I am appalled - appalled! - to realise PG Wodehouse was an early user of ChatGPT.
Ditto. Along with
You’re talking to a tourist
Whose every move is among the purest.
Sir Tim Rice at his finest!
We absolutely will!
Welcome to my world.
And one day you will post a #VictoryCoffee
These messages are so important, @strategywoman.bsky.social Thank you
The Olympians shift their weight slightly to steer. I used my toes, digging into the ice. Hands were kept safely away from the sharp runners!
I love the idea of a luge run in a state park - what a fabulous resource!
They are sort of secretly British. Formed in Bushey, a London suburb, where their American parents lived. They might have picked up the local culture.…
I tried it a couple of times. I’m no athlete or speed junkie but I can tell you it was an incredible rush. I can understand it would be utterly addictive.
You *are* making the world listen by these daily updates.
Every Ukrainian voice that reaches us is heard. Some brave ones among us visit with aid. Others of us give what we can.
Be your amazing, strong self in these dark, cold days.
You are not alone.
Victory and peace will come.
As always, Yaroslava, we are thinking of you.
Thank you for letting us know. It's so important to hear these updates. Looking forward to you having a #VictoryCoffee one day
Brilliant! The slightly hushed tone really makes it.
This is so exciting! Thanks for sharing
