I honestly never had this issue with the yoto, both the small and big one worked fine on the network, maybe it's a router specific thing.

Definitely has unreliability related to thing aggressively switching between bands.

Casually deciding to separate my 2.4 and 5 GHz networks into separate SSIDs in my overly connected home was a great way to waste half a day 🫠

Fwiw I don't feel bad about it at all. More noticing patterns that I'm trying to avoid while also trying to see how leaders end up falling into some of these classic tropes.
