I’ve always loved Alembic gear. This week I finally got this Alembic F1X (pictured on top of the rack). It joins my vintage Alembic F2B and my Alembic SF2. I absolutely love each of these preamps. They are extremely well built too.
Vocalist Felicia Patton’s new record was released today. I played bass on this song. My bass brother Gros Ngolle Pokossi played on the rest of the record.

Gros Ngolle Pokossi & his band recording @ Narwhal Studios in Chicago. The music was incredibly well written, arranged, rehearsed and performed. The instrumentation was bass (Gros Ngolle Pokossi), drums (Earl Talbot), tenor sax (Ryan Wayne Tedder) and trumpet (Noé Mina).
