Just got home from visiting with my good friend and collaborator Jens Kiilgaard in Copenhagen DK, and what should be waiting for me at my local record store…Linkin Park’s #EmilyArmstrong is incredible! IBV is now one in person and two zoom meetings per year, which I believe is the new push for all sections. IMO, there is little to no waste in the scientific review and program offices, and staff are stretched to their limit. Cuts would seriously harm the review/grants administration process.

Growing up in Newfoundland, there were many interesting dialects. For instance, my mom’s entire family would drop and add the letter H resulting in sentences like “did you play hice ockey today?”. I recently told her about X, to which she replied, “whats hex?”. I said, it’s what Elon did to twitter!
