i cant tell if theyre carpenters or bumblebees... the abdomen of the one that is visible looks fuzzy and there are definitely at least two which makes me think bumblies... i dont know if they made the holes or are just using existing ones. either way im sooo excited to check on the tree every day 🐝💖

i think there are bees living in one of my trees?? yesterday i noticed one circling a tree and a handful of small holes in it, then later i saw one inside the hole while 2 others circled around. today i saw at least 2 bees in the hole together, maybe sleeping? this is so fucking cool 😭
