I *own* a few different instruments to help me write, but I don't perform with them publicly. I am ass at guitar. I'm mediocre on keyboard.

That's cool. I have the majority of my old files saved from 2003, but they're... BAD lol. But I think it's interesting to have a record of my progress over time.

I really started using Tabit to write for my bands over the years, but I got better and better with Tabit, and it became its own thing.

Haha it's my go-to soundfont.

I went to college for music but I don't play melodic instruments, so I started writing for them instead a long time ago.

I have been using VirtualMIDISynth for years lol. Yup, I agree that it makes everything sound better!

For the link I shared, I just used OBS to record my screen while I hit play. Hope you enjoy!

A few years ago, I started to use different sound fonts with Tabit. I really like Chaos.sf2.

I think Tabit is incredibly useful for writing and arranging, especially because I'm really a drummer lol.
