Oof. Too real.

I went to the Galloping Ghost for the first time a year ago. I’m not even a huge arcade guy, and I was floored. Super impressive.
I do have a feeling I will regret the success as much as the inevitable mistake. When you are the hero, they keep asking you to be the hero.
Currently riding a high from a big win at work. Which means discovering I made a gigantic mistake on another project is just around the corner.

Me, trying to be normal:
I’ve begun to lose hope that the lawn care guys will ever finish working right outside my office window and that I’ll ever be able to think again.
I mean, the dude is presumably dead and General Mills is still carting him out every year to shill for their cereal. Capitalism destroys!
Sabrina Carpenter
Ornella Muti as Princess Aura
Okay, Sabs. I see you. You’re still doing this. That’s cool by me.
It’s like “Hahaha! The bad guys are winning!”
Just watched the newest @lastweektonight.com episode. I really appreciate what that show does, but there are times I just can’t laugh because the topic is too despondent or despicable.
I hadn’t considered cinnamon. I’ve tried artificial sweeteners, but I hate those.
Same. Black coffee is the worst part about intermittent fasting.
I have finished Ashes to Ashes. Wow. I really liked that show.
You could watch it without seeing Life on Mars, but the final season will pack a bigger punch if you’ve seen Life on Mars first.
It ends strong overall. I would watch it again even.
Went to my son’s high school’s musical tonight. Had to switch seats at intermission because the parents behind us could not stop talking out loud in a normal speaking volume the entire time. When did etiquette die?
I wanted that Batcave so badly when I was *calculates my age in 1980* four.
Ranking the cuteness of the Muppet Babies (as seen in Muppets Take Manhattan):

Animal / Fozzie (tied for 2nd)
Piggy
Gonzo

There truly is a Simpsons clip for everything.
Is there a way @bsky.app can crack down on these bot accounts that auto-reply or auto repost with their pleas for my money?
Same. I never have liked III until I saw it again through Cobra Kai’s eyes.
That would have been awesome as well.
I need to rewatch Next Karate Kid. I leaned into being a guy who liked that movie back when I was in college, but I probably was doing that ironically.
I also wish they could have worked out the Hillary Swank appearance, but I will cherish what we got. Which was a lot.
Sabs can do whatever she wants to do. Okay?
Oh, you’re absolutely right! Prince Adam was super disappointing and maybe even worse was Kringer > Battle Cat.
And no Orko!
I loved these mini storybooks as a kid and was quite disappointed when the cartoon didn’t line up narratively with them even when I was 6yo.
And look at this art. It’s amazing. And I know this awakened things in kids who read these books. Toys should still come with storybooks or comics like this.
I gave it 2.5 stars on Letterboxd. It was better than Pinocchio’s live action. I still didn’t really like it all that much.
I’ve seen some of the live action Disney movies in the past; a couple were okay. I was real curious about these early ones though. The first two animated films really lacked plot and were mostly animation showcases. I wondered how the live action versions would compensate.
Answer: not well.
