Mostly this is my wife. She’ll announce loudly to a friend that I’m forgetful/messy because I have adhd. Normally I shrug it off. Lately, you know what? It’s really p*ssing me off.

Today my 8yo daughter had a huge meltdown in the campsite swimming pool. Loads of people staring. There is no rule book for parents in this situation. f* u to all the people judging. Holidays are so hard and we’re all just trying our best.

I was given a book by a close relative to help ‘cure’ my 8 year old daughter’s meltdowns using the pseudoscientific tapping.

This book literally claims that children need to get the ‘yuckies’ out of them. This is both disgusting and damaging all in one.

I’ve been making the kids’ pack lunches for 8 years and still everyday I look at the empty boxes wondering what on earth goes in them. Everyday it’s starting from scratch.
