88% of journalists delete pitches that miss their beat.
That's the reality according to Muck Rack's 2026 State of Journalism report, which surveyed journalists about how they work and what they actually want from PR pros.

Rian Immigrant Center has carried forward the Irish tradition of hospitality for over 35 years, helping newcomers navigate their own paths. Last year alone, they served 4,100+ immigrant and refugee families from 125+ countries.
The Irish who came to Boston survived famine, prejudice, and brutal hardship. They understood what it meant to arrive somewhere new and build a life from nothing. That's why they founded in 1989 what is now the Rian Immigrant Center. Rian is the Irish word for "path."
This St. Patrick's Day, the Irish immigration story reminds us that the journey to build a new life in America has never been easy. 🍀
We believe visibility is a form of justice. When mission-driven organizations can share their stories clearly and confidently, more people show up to support them. That's the work we're committed to every day.

Huge thanks to everyone who walked, donated, and spread awareness, and of course, a massive thank you and congratulations to the @projectbread.org team for their tireless work to make this event and this mission thrive.
This event is more than a fundraiser–it’s a movement. This year's Walk comes at an urgent time for Massachusetts families facing hunger. Nearly 1 in 5 people in the state are struggling to afford groceries, while programs that ensure families have enough to eat are under attack.
We were proud to be on the ground supporting @projectbread.org’s incredible team as 4,500+ walkers across 20 states and 3 countries raised over $1 million (and counting!) to fight hunger across the Commonwealth. Fundraising for the Walk for Hunger will continue through the summer.
Earlier this month, thousands gathered on Boston Common and virtually for @projectbread.org’s 57th Annual Walk for Hunger, the oldest continual pledge walk in the nation and a beloved Massachusetts tradition.
WHDH-TV was onsite yesterday to capture @projectbread.org's 57th annual #WalkForHunger, which was a huge success, raising more than $1 million to fight food insecurity across Massachusetts. Fundraising continues through the summer. To make a donation, visit: www.projectbread.org/walk
"Food insecurity is a big problem and if it's one person's problem, then it's everyone's problem. And, I think it speaks to how the Walk for Hunger shows that hunger is no just real but so is hope."

@nytimes.com spoke with @oldnorth1723.bsky.social, @paulreverehouse.bsky.social, and local historians to learn what really happened that night, how the story evolved, and why it still matters today:
Just a few days ago, Boston marked the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s legendary midnight ride on April 18, 1775 — a moment that helped ignite the American Revolution.
Here's what’s in store at @oldnorth1723.bsky.social, @paulreverehouse.bsky.social, and more this week and going forward in Boston Uncovered:
