Ok so I watched Renee O'Connor's episode this morning... lots of accurate #Xena references! Now could we please really have a Xena rewatch podcast with Renee & Lucy Lawless?

The universe seems to be telling me to watch Hacks... in season 5, they crossover with my two favorites: Xena and the Amazing Race.
Denny is getting dedicated bus lanes!
About 12 years ago, I worked in the Cascade neighborhood (what is more called South Lake Union) and I'd walk home along the #8 route and I'd make it to the Miller community center before the bus caught up. #Seattle #L8
I've been carrying my 3DS lately to play a Link Between Worlds. Other folks have been playing Ocarina of Time and Tomodachi Life.
I've got four StreetPass in the wild over the last month. Two at work (college campus), one at a street festival in downtown Renton, and one at Riverwalk Park in Spokane. This is exciting because sometimes I go months without getting any outside of cons.
This episode also does the best job making me care for the one-off villagers when they raze their own homes.
"A Good Day" is an underrated #Xena episode and central to Gabrielle's arc from villager to pacifist to warrior.
@kelslewin.bsky.social We're emailing Cabel new Sidetalkin' photos right? I took one with my Playdate.
Even if we didn't need a sixth child, Kelly was well-developed and I enjoyed their spat with Reese. The modern identity updates were just normal, neither a joke nor lecture. The class conscious themes of the earlier seasons of the original were gone tho. :(
The show seemed like it couldn't decide if Malcolm was wrong to go low contact with his family. He's living a great life bc he left, but the plot demanded they make up. I don't know that Malcolm's fellow millennial girlfriend Tristan would push for reconciliation with his abusive mom.
Malcolm in the Middle was not bad as far as tv revivals go. I liked the new characters, although Jamie and Kelly probably could have been condensed into one character. (Jamie was a toddler last we saw, and Kelly is the youngest sibling born after the series ended.)
Me neither... I paused to do some googling because I thought Kelly was Jamie after a name change.
I miss Television without Pity.
Malcolm and Francis arguing about whether Plasma or LED TVs are better at their grandma's funeral had me howling. I may have rewound to rewatch a few times.
Will the new Malcolm and the Middle miniseries give Piama some lines already? Do her and Lois just get along now? (I'm on episode 2 and laughing a lot and trying to ignore Malcolm leaving his teenager daughter alone overnight.)
"Rules for thee but not for me" should have been the episode title. #Survivor50
Nose of a 474 poking out between two under-construction high-rises.
Uhh... (plane between two towers on Denny Way in Seattle).
I'm holding out on Pokopia for a physical release.
I am trying to finish Malcolm in the Middle before the new series and I picked up where I left off a couple of years ago. Lois is jealous her sonsband Dewy is seeing another mom and Hal gets on the motivational-speaker-to-cult-leader grift.
I'm watching deleted scenes on the 2006 #Xena DVDs and they straight up use copyrighted music as the stand-in soundtrack. It was a different time. ๐
I've been saying for the last decade that #Animorphs could do for the 90s what Stranger Things did for the 80s. I hope the new Animorphs series will be aimed at nostalgic millennials and appeal to our kids, who are now the age we were when devouring these books.
Animorphs deserves a TV adaptation made with love. Could this be it?
#TheRookie is egregious in many ways but most of all is Nolan agreeing to host last-minute parties without running it by his wife.
Heroic Tiff makes sure we get a Breath of the Wild mention on the Blood Moon themed episode of #Survivor50
@michaelhobbes.bsky.social on @aftermath.site is the podcast crossover I never expected.
But the real burning question is... what did you wear for the local news spot?
The pigeon was probably fine! I think they have to eat a lot to be poisoned.
We swing from a complex morally gray villain driven by grief, to one-note teens trapped in a elevator! Then the Quantum destiny out of 2020's Devs! And the long lost wife staring down her husband's therapist/mistress! #Paradise is as off-the-rails as #Manifest but with moments it genuinely good.
I loved the bonkers but earnest #Paradise season 2 finale. Best "Exodus" since the Battlestar Galactica ep of the same name aired twenty (!) years ago.
