Spanberger signs first wave of bills targeting health care, housing and energy costs - WTOP News Gov. Abigail Spanberger has signed the first batch of bills passed by state lawmakers before they adjourned in mid-March, advancing measures on health care, housing and energy affordability.

This includes improved bonding capacity for affordable #housing, studying and reporting evictions, and fairer regulations for manufactured housing. It notably does not include Faith in Housing, which the governor is receiving fierce pushback from NIMBYs across the state, nor by-right ADUs.

You know what Arlington should do now? Build a streetcar on Columbia Pike and extend it into DC down H Street.

If the DC streetcar had extended down Columbia Pike that would have been lit.
