My point being he can’t hide behind this idea that it’s legally treacherous territory for him to release them. So the only reason he wouldn’t is because he and people he wants to protect are in them.
Releasing the files
I’m not a legal scholar but it seems to me that the Supreme Court does give him that latitude. And his base does want him to basically upload all the files to X. He has the access & the ability. He can’t wiggle out of this because the Supreme Court made sure he could basically get away with murder.
However, Trump could release them as an official act and not be held liable. Just like with all the other lawless shit he’s getting away with.
