What a great attitude! Mine were both terrible with anything new when they were little. Teen years are a whole new ball game. Bottomless pits.

Wait until he hears about petrol station queues when the fuel is about to run out.
It is actually ok, I add a bit of garlic and Parmesan and it tastes good, texture spot on. Uber fussy 14yo has been known to make it for himself for lunch.
My mum used to use Deb for similar reasons so I figure I can be forgiven using the frozen stuff 😂
I did not understand why my mum would go nuclear as a child when asked ‘What’s for dinner?’ Though I try very hard not to yell at my children I now understand the impulse in relation to that question very well.
I get it and I concede that it is covered in plastic but I don’t get home until 6:30 when I go into the office and I have two man size teenagers who get hungry at about 6:15 and it rapidly escalates into starvation from there. The frozen stuff is ready in 7 minutes in the appropriate quantity.
I’m getting mine tomorrow, courtesy of my workplace. Get it every year. Last year the kids brought Flu A home, despite my clapped out lungs and immunosuppressant steroid use as a result I stayed flu free. The kids want the flu vax too this year. They were miserably sick.
The level of control that has been implemented over participants & the petty, nonsensical rules have been insane and contributed to costs. $35 gym ball that you found helpful in therapy? Absolutely not, you have access to one in therapy. For use at home? Get a $1000 report and then we’ll look at it.
This is also true of the corporate world.
2 teenage boys, 1 6ft. 1 well on his way, 6ft husband and a German shepherd. Nope. I’ve already been ejected from a front seat spot.
So sorry, I’ve had a very unwell child myself and the constant worry was crushing. A good GP was our saviour, queues for psychiatric services for kids in desperate need were 12 months here. And that was paying privately.
I think the age care changes are fuelling some of the shift to One Nation. Both ALP and LNP supported. Elderly people are furious at the idea of a $50 charge to take a shower. Not many in that age segment will vote greens. I haven’t seen that demographic analysis yet on the One Nation surge.
At least I got to try the new Kathmandu jacket I got for Christmas.
Plus crack down on the chop shops, illegal car export ops etc. Destroy the dodgy markets the stolen items are traded into and and the theft issues should reduce. Ditto for tradies tools, jewellery etc.
You should see our local Facebook group - the level of crime freak out is such that you would think our suburban streets have a danger level equivalent to a New York alley. Meanwhile I walk the dog at 10:30pm with no concern for safety at all. Hysterically anti-ALP.
The worrying thing is that she might end up being the 2nd worst attorney general
The third way is when they lie down in the puddle.
The rest of the world would like to know why it isn’t 100%. America is a failed nation.
Picture of a German shepherd wearing 2 stacked cones after surgery.
She beat the single inflatable cone of shame after 2 weeks so we are now doubling up with the yellow duck cone of shame. Not keen on dog-assisted bandage removals. We are into week 3 of surgery recovery & getting rammed with the giant plastic cone gets old very fast. Send us all your good vibes 😩
There’s no such thing as overdoing it on cheese.
Awww. When we adopted my little dog she was so tiny she couldn’t manage stairs. I left her outside with the kids with instructions to keep her out from under my feet while I vacuumed. 10 seconds later she tore up the stairs like a pro. Being left with the kids was all the incentive needed.
I didn’t want to change mine because I had built up a positive reputation in the industry I work in. Eg I recently changed jobs and discovered after joining that someone I used to work with 15 years ago was there and had been kind enough to recommend me when asked about me.
Exactly, my very politically engaged teenage son has been horrified by recent polls. I kept telling him we hadn’t quite hit the period where multiple One Nation candidates are revealed to be domestic violence perpetrators, rapists or child sex abusers, misogynists, fraudsters etc
Where are the pro bono lawyers?
Like the rats and cockroaches, I’m sure a few will make it.
So very sorry for your loss.
Bullock will be burned in effigy by the Murdoch press when this is demonstrated to have been a catastrophically wrong call.
There’s the One Nation voting cohort
I have a very vivid memory of my Dad doing his nut because petrol had hit 36c a litre.
