By now their mechanic’s creeper has fused to their back.

It’s astounding that the RMV experience is still this awful. It’s difficult enough to get an appointment, but to be sitting here an hour after it was supposed to start? For what? How can one service be this predictably bad for what feels like eternity?

<Bernie “I am once again asking” meme> if anyone nearby has a 12-string (electric or acoustic) I could borrow for a couple of days …

These guys rule and it looks like they’ve got a unique opportunity, here. Go listen to Clients + Carriers right meow!

Sorry, folks, we have to drop out. Too much rain during our setup and set and no overhead cover. Have fun and be safe out there!

Nice work of art you got there, be a shame if the advent of mechanical reproduction deprived it of its aura

“tribal tattoo/Under Armour ‘Freedom’ shirt guy …”

(Just say “off-duty cop,” this is taking forever …)

Is it even a real Irish pub in MA without a tribal tattoo/Under Armour “Freedom” shirt guy *and* an 80-year-old man in tweed doing a jig?

Do I know anyone local with a 12-string acoustic I can borrow for a session next Monday?

I just saw it yesterday in Car and Driver. The regular V60 will survive, but those are all Cross Country models. RIP to non-lifted/clad wagons.

That V60 PHEV is pretty rad—they’re axing it of course because we aren’t a proper country anymore …

Totally, though I must propose a special dispensation for Pearl Jam . They’ve been playing it almost as long as—and sometimes alongside—Uncle Neil.

Burgum is what happens when a Muppet extra is cursed by a witch to walk the Earth as a real person.

It’s important to understand that “faith” here at this point no longer means following Jesus, but rather Christian Nationalism, which has little to do with Jesus’ teachings and everything to do with white male power.

This is just to say
I have failed to pay for Peacock+
just to watch Premier League

which they are probably
saving
for more ad dollars.

Forgive me
the sport was
so fresh
and so entertaining

Yet another reason to love Chicago.

That said I will argue that it has the same chip on its shoulder about NYC--less with sports than with art; at least it still did 20 years ago. Maybe the fact that its own scenes have grown independently, finally, have abated that feeling.
