A Linoprint block that has an orange background with black line work. The orange is cut away to white in areas to clearly indicate negative space. It is a triptych of 3 different penises in an art nouveau style with the Latin words “VENUSTAS SUAVITAS VOLUPTUS” under each penis.
Working on a new print. The Latin words mean Beauty, Sweetness & Pleasure. It’s the biggest piece I’ve done physically (A3) and definitely one of the most satisfying so far.
For someone who didn’t enjoy the movie Midsommar, I have done a great job of emulating it with the little toys on my monitor stand.
A three colour Lino-print in brown, black and gold ink. The print is a triptych of a coil of rope in the first panel, a fist (fingers and thumb squeezed narrowly together for fisting rather than fighting) in the second panel, an impact paddle with studs and stitching detail and a hanging strap at the bottom in the third panel. Each panel has a border of detailed metal chain.
May as well start with my favourite print I have made so far. I did this late 2023 and it was a very limited 3 layer reduction print. It was mostly limited because I underestimated how much interest it would receive. But the top layer (the black layer) of each panel can still be used for printing.
