It’ll be hard to avoid coverage of it here in Ireland but I’ll be fully engaged with the championship and won’t pay much attention to PL.

I’m not happy about it at all but I’ll still support the team. I know it’s not for everyone and that’s fair enough, but I also know I won’t be able to walk away so not going to pretend otherwise.
So they went back to the manager who they rejected last summer to leave his job, where he’s having a decent season, with 7 games to go to come in and save us from relegation ?Thats quite something
Hi, I’m Case 00148668
Sent in my email to supporter services, not confident that it’ll do any good, they just don’t seem to care what we think, but have to try anyway. Hard to believe that it’s less than a year since Bilbao and the amount of damage done in that time.

Cheers Paul, they did well to get to the playoffs and hopefully can build on this now. Surprised Wales went out, thought they would have won that.
An opportunity missed, not sure we’d have beaten Denmark anyway but would have been great to have had a crack at it. Players gave it everything to be fair, just came up short. Football is being a pain in the arse lately.
As bad and all as we are, we still won a trophy more recently than them, they were 2nd again last Sunday so I’d start referring to him as “Mr. 2nd again” whenever he pipes up.
Well, Andy Hunter isn't wrong, is he? (h/t @garethevans1975.bsky.social)
Congrats and well done 👏
Spot on, it’s already been said to me by a friend of mine that he feels disillusioned with football and it’s nearing the stage of “what’s the point in trying to compete”. It really is a shameful judgement and City will probably be something similar.
Thing is you can borrow money to build a stadium and then pay it back over the years but you can’t do that to buy players. However now it transpires that you can just cheat and pay a 10 million quid fine. If only we knew

Happy Paddy’s Day to all who celebrate, sláinte
If they were going to hit them with just a fine it should have been a large percentage of the prize money that got from both Premier League and European competition over that period. 10.5 million is laughable.
St Patrick described himself as a refugee ("profugus"). He was a Roman Briton, trafficked into slavery in Ireland as a teenager who chose to return in adulthood as a missionary. He was elevated to the role of Ireland's national saint in the 7th century by the church of Armagh. Happy #StPatricksDay ☘️
It's St PADDY'S Day with a D, not a fecking T, just to start it off right and prevent avoidable violence.
Sincerely,
Everyone in Ireland
Same, having a text discussion with a Liverpool supporting friend of mine this evening and said exactly the same thing.
Nah, that’s bollocks 😀
The phrase “you make your own luck” is such a load of bollox.
Agree, I think he did a good job, despite some mistakes, in taking the club to a certain level but the way he operated couldn’t take us any further.
By giving the answer No he wouldn’t have it kind of lets him off the hook and to be honest there’s a bit too much of that going on for me.
He’s only gone since September and a lot of our problems now stem from his decisions over the years. He did a decent job with obvious errors along the way to take us to a certain level but couldn’t take us above that level or maintain it.
He probably wouldn’t have but let’s not forget he was there when Ange was sacked and Frank hired.
I don’t want to be too pessimistic but it’s a fair chance that it’ll be 8 by the time we play Forest.
Yep, to be fair to the players I thought they responded well to that start.
Shocking stuff that from Tudor.
Champions league knockouts, mightn’t be back here for a while so regardless of league position I hope we give it a right go over the two games, would love to see us get through. COYS

I’m sorry but I’ve just learned that Dexter Sol Ansell who plays Egg in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms went to school in costume AS HIMSELF for World Book Day and I am delighted beyond the bounds of reason.
That’s a good point, perhaps only send the player off if it’s outside the area as they get the opportunity back with the penalty if it’s inside the area. Stupid from Micky though.
