This is probably the best ending to any movie (at least my favorite).

Ouch!

Here Are the Nearly 2,500 Medical Research Grants Canceled or Delayed by Trump Some cuts have been starkly visible, but the country’s medical grant-making machinery has also radically transformed outside the public eye.

Amazing analysis and terrible implications for research in the US. Very impactful research is being eliminated. Worth a look.

Strong analysis.

I am actually a little curious (and terrified) now that the dog has caught the car to see what happens.

5 Science-Backed Longevity Hacks That Don’t Cost a Fortune You don’t need a $40,000 gym membership to live a longer, healthier life.

Nice to see a rationale approach summarized here. Seems like good strategies.

A humanized antibody against mucormycosis targets angioinvasion and augments the host immune response An anti-CotH humanized IgG1 antibody protects against lethal mucormycosis when given as adjunctive therapy to immunocompromised mice.

Gotta say, for anyone who has cared for patients with Mucor, this looks like pretty good news:

Nice to see our guide on production of iPSC-NK cells out. This method has worked for many groups.

Thanks for the update. I do see it works, which is a start. Now I need to figure out if they are funded grants for last year’s submission

Does anyone know if the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) is kaput? They fund lots of cancer research. Now all CDMRP-related websites seem to be gone, as below. Any ideas?
Musk and friends likely ended these to fund their tax cuts, but let me know if any other ideas here.

Well, 2% were against this, so, you know, both sides have a point...

Sort of like the minority of climate change deniers, anti-vaxers, etc. 😵‍💫

Very appropriate for the FAA and politicians "investigating" the crash.

He won't pay it. He'll get people to quit, then won't give them the severance. They'll come up with a "reason" later.

This could be a problem, every where, but maybe especially in California, where I am.

Great story. As a hematologist, it's exciting and incredible to see someone do well enough after an allogeneic BMT for AML to resume being an airline pilot. The field has come a long way. Congrats to both of them.
