I built a diabetes management app: everything for today, in one place.

Average glucose, time in range, insulin, and trends, without switching screens.

Over the last few years I’ve built a handful of apps to solve problems I personally deal with.

They ended up becoming tools I now use every day.

Screenshot of a smartphone notification center with a black background and a purple gradient border. The notification reads "Yesterday's summary is ready" with a colorful icon resembling a drop or leaf. Below, it states "Time in range: 86% yesterday — a strong day." The notification is 27 minutes old. In the background, there's a grayscale image of a child's legs wearing sandals. At the bottom, there are two circular icons: one resembling a flashlight and the other a camera, with a "Demo" label between them. An "X" in the top right corner allows closing the notification.

OK, this is cool stuff. This morning, glusightapp pointed something out: I tend to run low more often between 4–6pm.

Obvious in hindsight, but seeing it clearly called out changed how I’m planning that part of my day.

That’s the whole point of the insights engine I built in.

Oh that tracks. Each of these apps are their own silos. That’s why I built exports into Glu Sight.

You can export CSVs to feed it to anything external and you can also export clinic-ready PDFs too.

We’ve shipped a new Trends feature in Glu Sight.

Instead of just numbers, it shows how your glucose is actually moving over time, with clear direction and deltas.

It’s designed to be understandable at a glance, without needing to be an expert.

It turns raw glucose and insulin data into patterns and signals I can actually use.

The goal is clarity and actionable feedback.

It’s been two years, and @glusight.app is finally getting a fresh coat of paint.
Just because it’s a serious app doesn’t mean it can’t be fun to use.

And if the original look feels like home, the classic colors will still be there in Themes.
