Where does that leave Humphrys? Clearly very talented, but looked lost last night. Likely down to the opposition, but felt Cook offered more when he was on. Swan is questionable for the weekend, Cook chomping at the bit. Does Humphrys beat them two to start, I'm not sure at the moment #bcafc

Probably, is my answer. Same with Neufville over Halliday, just for the sheer pace, similarly if Touray played instead of Kelly and Wright was LWB too. The game does pose some interesting questions around the forwards again though. Andy Cook is just about ready, Swan fits the system well #bcafc
Would it have been different had he gone with his strongest XI? Outcome probably not, considering how they managed to easily beat our press and pick us off at will. But would we have seen a more bullish performance? Would Sarce & Swan have offered more going forward than Humphs and Powell? #bcafc
A few ramblings post #nufc. The game went as expected really, but it never dampened the mood up in the gods of SJP. It was a certainly interesting line-up from GA, definitely one eye on Blackpool. Can't really argue with it, minutes in the legs for those that have missed games #bcafc #bantams
40 years on from the fire would be a real testament and way to honour those that lost their lives, especially if we finished 1st. To me, it would show that the greenshoots of recovery are slowly blossoming, so long as we continue on the same route next season
Ourselves, Vale and Donny.
Confident we can turn the two home games into wins. If we can pick up a win away, we should be there or thereabouts. 5 wins and we win the league, but it's not going to be as straightforward as that
It's fun ain't it. Much rather being in and around it than it falling into mediocrity like we have done for many a year. Just so desperate to get over the line!
Crichlow should never have left IMO, we should really have pushed to sign him from Town when Posh did. Looking forward to seeing him in that back 3! Great start to TDD, GK and ST IN, couple OUTs and everyone is happy #bcafc #bantams
Can't take anything from this game personally. Training ground exercise. They don't close down or press, don't challenge for headers or second balls. Not upset to see us be so comfortable, but anything less would be concerning #bcafc #bantams
Devastated for Andy, on the verge of breaking into the top 3 all time City scorers. Just hope that he recovers full, gets back to his fit and lean self for next year to go on a mad run of scoring form again, regardless of division! #bcafc #bantams
I think as well, he would go into most teams anticipating being a big part of the starting XI but GA not the man to guarantee it either
Not surprised at the 2 leavers today. Evans not fully recovered from his ACL injury which is a shame; when 100%, he could be a massive asset to most L1/2 teams! Diabate looked solid but still made mistakes, and then fell out of favour once everyone was fit again. Space for bodies now #bcafc #bantams
The game today was fantastic. Energy from all over. Guile, creativity, and more importantly, clinical when we were on top! However, it means nothing if we don't back it up away at Carlisle in 2 weeks. Rest up, go again! This league is there for the taking #bcafc #bantams
Lapsie IN (as per @jamieraynor.bsky.social) could suggest Jamie Walker OUT. Very deep at the 8/10 role with Sarce, Patto, Pointon, Odour & Walker; a few offering more cover elsewherw too. Then Smallwood & Evans (if we keep him, and we should) at the 6! Interesting Jan upcoming #bcafc #bantams
The only upside from the game today is that it wasn't broadcast on Sky for the rest of the world to see how shite we really are. As always, GA isn't doing well, but no point replacing until we get people who are competent further up the hierarchy #bcafc #bantams
I think he's struggled to perform to the levels he can be capable of, this year. Great option for us, but can't see him settling for a bit part role
Did anyone see Jamie Walker post game yesterday? Feel like he wasn't bothered to clap the fans (not that he has to) and just headed off to the dressing room. Pissed off with playing time maybe? Worried about contract sitch? Looking to move in Jan? #bcafc #bantams
Probably one of the more comfortable 1-0 wins. Swindon were so ineffective, maybe because Paul Huntington controlled Harry Smith and marked him out of the game. Clean sheet very important too. Set up nicely to go seek some vengeance at Meadow Lane next week after last season #bcafc #bantams
An early goal vs Barrow is exactly what we need on Tuesday night, followed by a handful more. Wishful thinking, I know, but can see it turning ugly quickly #bcafc
Right decision to call it IMO. Save the pitch. Would have been turgid playing on it today and cut up like fuck before the next home game on the 3rd vs Barrow #bcafc
Can't be with us for much longer surely?! There is a player in there but just hasn't worked here. Needs to play as a classic poacher in a team that can do the work for him #bcafc
You on next year Rob ye?
First time I've watched #ThreeLions since the Euros. Didn't take long to remember that watching them not in major tournaments is so tedious and boring. Least #NFLRedzone starts shortly
Swear I've just seen Jay Benn out running in Brighouse. Guess it means he ain't in the squad #bcafc
Looking forward to seeing the reaction to the game on here today. Might be a bit more measured and a bit less fickle and frantic! Never feel like we play well at Colchester anyway #bcafc #bantams
