National Park Service reveals new exhibit for President’s House Site Advocates for the site say digital renderings of new display panels diminish references to slavery and whitewash American history.

Critically important coverage from @whyy.org and @npr.org: whyy.org/articles/pre... . “Maliciously outrageous” indeed. Tell the truth.

I keep seeing these videos of this person trying to plant their garden, and they just… can’t. And, yeah.

So what has happened is I’m eliminating plastic use so I washed this little jar that had pickled jalapeños in it and put my yogurt in it but then some of the yogurt was on the lid so I licked it off and now my tongue burns and all I taste jalapeño-gurt which is exactly as disgusting as it sounds

Do you live in Massachusetts and use heating oil in your home? Have you had any struggles getting your tank refilled in the last two weeks? Given recent price spikes, are you worried about the cost of refilling your tank right now? Please reach out to reporter Miriam Wasser at mrwasser@bu.edu.

In archaeology and paleontology (yes, they’re different! I know they’re different! I am not equating them! It’s just that I’ve done both!), it’s always about the one thing that doesn’t quite look like everything around it. And I love it. 🦖 🦴 💀

Hey, anyone know a culinary historian? I’m wondering what people who relied on chicken eggs used for baking when chickens went into their low-light, no-eggs period in winter. Did they use a method of preservation like water-glassing? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

You’ve also just summed up what it’s like to move to a small town in your 40s where most of the people your age have known each other since kindergarten. PS-the good news is: I DID make some friends! And like, good ones! 😍
