There was a whole group gathered in Jungkook’s communal space. And every single one of them stopped talking and turned to look at Yoongi and Namjoon the moment they entered behind Jungkook. “Well, well, well,” one of them said to Jungkook as he approached the kitchen island. It was a woman, tall in her own right with long, curly brown hair that cascaded down her back in wild corkscrews, though Jungkook towered over her as he stood beside her and accepted the beer she held out to him. “Look who finally decided to show up to Family Dinner.” “Verity,” Jungkook greeted her, popping the lid off the beer and lifting it to his lips. Yoongi had to force his eyes away from the sight, the feeling bubbling inside his core making his stomach churn. “Sorry I missed dinner, Mom.” The omega female—Verity, her name was—rolled her eyes and moved around the kitchen to stand next to an alpha who wrapped his arm around her waist in a possessive way. The alpha was handsome, Yoongi thought, in a really pretty way. He was almost too pretty to be an alpha, actually, with the fullest set of lips that Yoongi had ever seen and a face that looked like it belonged in one of those paintings in the Louvre. “Dinner’s still on the stove, so if you want some, just turn the burner on.
