Charlie Kirk has been hailed as the “MLK jr of the right.” So, I’d like to see some of the inspirational messages he’s delivered over the years. Dr. King had his dream; what might CK be remembered for?

I’ll go first: “Gay people should be stoned to death.” A personal favorite.

Agreed, it’s a bit puzzling. But these acts are rarely completely rational, assuming no conspiracy. But yes, if it were a “liberal plot”, CK would not be considered a high value target.

I’m so sick of conservative voices lifting up CK as if his whole shtick wasn’t to spew hateful rhetoric and celebrate the ensuing chaos.

The whole, “we lost an angel to the left” narrative is not only disingenuous, it’s a direct threat to our lives.

I think many on the left are assuming it was “political” because of who Charlie Kirk was. His hateful political rhetoric was intended to provoke (eg, “Prove Me Wrong” Tour), so it’s not unreasonable to assume he may have poked the wrong bear along the way.

It is a bit nauseating to see prominent Dems trip over each other to denounce gun violence, offer condolences, etc. when the right couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge the murders of MN state legislators just a couple months ago.

According to ChatGPT, only six notable Rs made statements. SIX.

There is no clearer example of the stark difference between Ds and Rs when it comes to empathy. A quick ChatGPT inquiry show only 6 (six!) statements from Rs expressing condolences or condemning gun violence when the MN legislators were gunned down. Triple that from Ds over Kirk, already.

Here is a quick list of conservatives who publicly condemned or offered condolences, according to ChatGPT.

I’ve already seen a dozen different shots of the Kirk shooting from various spectators….I don’t recall similar footage from the incident with Orange.

Another school shooting with truly innocent victims (Denver) won’t be covered at all because a dumbshit extremist provocateur who travels the country gaslighting college kids was attacked.

Both are tragic, of course, but only one is a senseless crime.
