Maybe, but they have 5 points more with only 15 to play for. I'd rather be in their position than Spurs.

A point for West Ham tonight at Palace is sufficient to relegate Wolves, confirming the inevitable.
An interesting point for the FA and PGMOL to ponder in their seasonal review of officiating - and perhaps change the interpretation of the laws as a result. An argument for violent conduct suspensions to be judged on a case by case basis.

One game at a time is the only way to tackle it.
I'll be quivering in my boots until all is revealed.
Both keepers had their moments. I think Raya has received more praise than he's deserved: yes, some great saves but he's not world class imo.
What have we done? ๐
It looked a bit fiesty at times at the Council House, one or two dark arts on each side, questions over whether each side should have finished with 11 men.
1 out of 3 so far, and not one which affects us.
An excellent excuse for an afternoon of football. Hope it's entertaining and you get the results you want.
A perfect counterfoil. ๐
Draws in the Merseyside derby and Villa v Sunderland would suit me, with Forest beating Burnley.
As for the late game, a draw might be best.
Indeed it is.
I can guess what you'll be doing this afternoon.
I'm off out soon, a lovely day here if not roasting. โ๏ธ
Yes, I did the maths before I posted. ๐
I agree but I like mathematical certainty.
I agree that maximum points are unlikely but I was looking at it from a mathematical perspective to be certain.
Sir Jim's alleged preference for alpha types got me thinking about current PL managers. I reckon only Pep would fit the bill.
I love the day after glow and buzz of a great result. I'll never get enough of that.
I think last night's ๐ท might have left a legacy. ๐
Strange, I've been looking at the table to see how many more points we need to guarantee CL qualification this morning - and it looks like 5 - 6 should be enough as things stand.
He gets a free pass from much of the UK media because he's British. They seem happy to pass over his shortfalls and focus on one trophy and CL campaign without looking at how much he's spent.
If Project 2030 is real, they can't put up with mediocrity and underachievement too much longer.
Boos ringing out from the stands at the final whistle at St James' Park. ๐
Hope you manage to fight off the adrenaline rush and get some restorative shut eye.
Night night. ๐ด
I've got to say I really enjoyed Garnacho being seranaded with the Tevez song throughout his time on the pitch having left under a massive dark cloud.
Subsequent interviews might suggest that he's begun to see the error of his ways and finally show a little maturity but there's some way to go.
Why don't they show the VAR footage from Stockley Park on TV highlights rather than the crap graphics we see?
Yes, I know what you meant. You'll be fine after a decent night's sleep. ๐
Watching the Spurs highlights, there's no obvious sign of a mass fan boycott. Couldn't tell if there were any banners expressing unhappiness with de Zerbi's appointment.
I've heard that some types are said to be best chilled these days but wouldn't know which ones.
No harm done if that's what you prefer.
Sunday ... tomorrow ... that's what happens after Saturday. ๐คฃ
Cucurella? I hate him.
I'm afraid that when that happens, I'm almost always unable to appreciate their abilities on the pitch ... very few exceptions and he's definitely not one of them.
Blimey, you got stuck in! Hope you're ok in the morning!
When you said that you had a bottle chilling, I assumed it was white or rose as red is usually served at room temperature.
Slainte. ๐ฅ
What a way to go though, especially a last minute winner in an important game. ๐
Time for that whisky.
How's the white wine going down?
