Movie poster of The First Kid, starring Sinbad.
Yeah oil part doesn't play into the plot until the end... Slow burn but a great movie.

Happy birthday dude!
The Umbrellas of Cherbourg is so cool. What an unusual, neat movie.
Both are abbreviations of slurs from the 1920s I think too.
The problem nowadays is that CEOs don't want to work. They just want money for laying people off and blathering about AI, not for producing any positive or concrete improvement to the business. They expect hundreds of millions for thousands of job loses and it's weak sauce, snowflake behaviour.
If we aren't talking about the band Geese we are talking about talking about the band Geese.
Respectfully disagree, triceratops was my sister's favorite so it couldn't be mine.
Recently got Black Flame by Gretchen Felker-Martin!
Vatican submarines spotted miles from shore near the Chesapeake Bay.
i feel bad for our country but this is tremendous content
Also, I was invited to a wedding celebration the same night that was incredibly just down the street. Went to the party, walked to the show, and then walked back to the party when it was over!
The last third of "The Nightmare of Atomic Men" by Enon when everything drops an octave or two.
Did you even read the post? Graham deals in pine cones now.
Photo from concert the lights are green and white
Had a really amazing experience at the Sunn O))) show the other night. Besides the glorious feedback and distortion it was also.... funny?
I dunno if it was intentional but the lights kept showing shades of Philly sports teams and I really appreciated it.
The packaging from a frozen dinner, P.F. Chang's "Korean Inspired Pork." (Which I had last night. It wasn't bad for this sort of thing.)
I'm imagining Koreans standing around the wallow, cheering them on and making speeches about how even the humblest pig can aspire to someday becoming pork.
On the new currency, "In God We Trust" has been replaced by "What's In It For Me?"
Thank you. This is lovely.
Would be cool if Qdoba made a similar, crummier thing available just a bit further down the aisle.
i make this podcast where i talk to people about getting fired. it's very real, it's not inspiration p0rn, and while i absolutely want you to rise from the ashes, i will NEVER give you some faux "you'll be totally fine" BS.

Me standing in front of the upturned root ball of a large tree.
This tree was shooting it's mouth off about all sorts of stuff and I just listened but then made a disparaging remark about David Cronenberg's 1981 masterpiece SCANNERS and I just couldn't take it.

Incredible
You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch

Rainy and chilly but still a good case for spring being a favorite season...
Every year I'm like "I'm really gonna try to follow the mlb this season" and then just when the weather is just getting nice outside I find myself on the couch listening to two guys who didn't finish high school talk over a 3D chart of wind patterns they are showing for like the third time.
I can appreciate the effect the pitch clock has on the game of baseball but also don't need the anxiety of a small count down clock I encounter endlessly that turns red when it gets below 3 while I'm trying to unwind.
Totally lost my wedding ring. Got it hung up on a screw at work and it was bent. I remember setting it down someplace and thinking "This is not a good last place to put this but it will do for now," and I might as well have been throwing it into a creek trying to skip it at that point.
